Envision
”A nation or an individual without a vision shall perish.”
There is a well-known story about Swami Ramalinga, who lived in the 1800s known as Vallalar.
He transcended because at the moment of his death he became light in front of his disciples and his clothes fell to the ground.
He had a habit of keeping his disciples • who gathered in thousands • waiting to be in his presence.
Before going out to meet them, he would usually ask his wife: "What are we going to eat today?"
She would reply: “Thousands of people are waiting for you! and you here worried about dinner! ” and used to be mad about that.
One day, faced with the same situation and with the anger of his wife, Vallalar said to her:
"Do you know why dinner is so important to me?"
"I have no more desires, and the only thing that can keep you on this planet alive is having some desire, something to achieve. This is my last wish, to eat a cake for dinner and on the day that food no longer interests me, you should know that in 3 days after that, I will leave this physical body.”
His wife felt so touched by his words. She never expected that to be the situation, so she put a lot of care into her kitchen and now enjoyed her husband's culinary interest.
One day, just before leaving to meet his disciples, she approached Vallalar and told him what she had cooked for dinner, one of his favorite dishes. He looked in another direction and she knew the time had come.
In exactly 3 days, Vallalar met with his disciples and turned into light right in front of them.
Vallalar spoke about the Great Compassionate Light. We all come from the Supreme Light and that the Grace and Compassion are unimaginable.
In times of crisis like these, it is very important to have a vision of the life that we want to create.
To be able to feel passion for creating a glorious future and dreaming of a new Golden Age that will emerge once enough human beings focus their perception on what we want to create instead of our fears.
What we see out in the world is a result of humanity's collective dream.
This is an opportunity to Awaken to our creative responsibility and envision a new paradise on earth.
The Sanskrit mantra that Vallalar gifted humanity to connect to the Great Compassionate Light is:
“Arut Perum Jyoti, Arut Perum Jyoti, Thani Perum Karunai, Arut Perum Jyoti”
