Always Try
”The loss is never in failing. The loss is in not trying.”
Whenever we fail at something, in the sense that the expectations that we had were not met, we usually tend to learn something out of the experience. After the heat of the moment, things become more clear and we grow in one way or the other.
Growth is equal to Joy • the paradox is that you eventually feel good about that failure when completely processed and integrated.
But when it comes to not trying, we do regret over time.
That’s because we overlook the conditions that are met at this moment, giving them for granted, and thinking that we will have these same factors always available in the future.
Life context changes all the time, and what is there today might not be there tomorrow • so when we finally decide to do it, it’s too late. Then the regret comes and we carry that burden if we cannot forgive ourselves.
We tend to procrastinate because we feel there’s going to be a better time for trying, and living in an ideal is many times deceiving.
Whatever is your best now should be enough to give a step forward in your pursuit.
The time is now, and delaying can only halt your growth and learning process, which is much needed in times like these • where we need to adapt and adjust faster than ever before in human history.
Contemplation:
What is important to me that I haven’t tried?
