Don't Worry
”We worry because we want to resolve the problem, but we don’t realize that to worry CREATES the problem”
We have heard many times that we attract what we think, that negative thoughts attract realities of suffering, but then why do we keep worrying?
The mind makes us believe that when we worry in some way we are dealing with solving the problem. We definitely focus on it, but in the opposite way to what we desire, creating the obstacle.
If the problem in question has no solution, then why worry? It would be a waste of time.
Now, if the problem has a solution, then it would be best to move to a positive state of mind, a state of connection, a state where we trust in life, where we can give our best and hope that life also cooperates.
Basically, for things to happen, it is not only about making an effort, but many other things also have to align and we have no control over that, we depend on life.
If you look at nature, all animals, plants and insects face the challenge of daily survival. Life seems to be on their side, because without the need for them to be worried • because they don't have a mind like human beings • everyone receives what is necessary in abundance and life goes on. In fact the birds have the heart to sing, the trees bear fruits and flowers, the monkeys play and everything continues day after day according to the Divine order.
In the case of humans, it would be the same, if we faced the daily challenges with a spirit of joy, of play, we would be giving way to life to bring the opportunities and situations that we desire. It is when we worry that the flow of life is interrupted, our fears are reinforced and we move into a state of struggle.
We believe that by worrying we will solve the problem, but worry IS the problem.
Whenever you feel that the mind is interrupting the flow of life, simply observe it carefully, recognize what is there, embrace it and allow that fear to be consumed with the fire of attention. Nothing that is conscious can become destructive. This is how we can transcend any limiting state and re-tune ourselves to the abundance that the flow of life can bring day by day.
Contemplation
Are you worried about something?
See if that concern is helping you solve the problem or if it is making the problem bigger.
